about
I did have this written in third person to seem more professional, but it felt strange – considering this little space of the internet has just been me & my dog, a lot of late nights & cups of tea that went cold.
I am completely self-taught in practicing art, & only started painting at 29 years old. Before this, my art “practice” was no more than a few graphite sketches a year. & I’d always been so scared of adding colour. But it was the day i bought my first watercolours that i knew- this is a long-term kinda love.
I haven’t dedicated my art a full-time career, as I also practice as a psychologist and yoga teacher (hence why I love painting people and yoga shapes!). In my previous career, I worked as a veterinarian for over a decade (hence why I love painting animals!).
So, life is busy. I paint as much as I can, but i always wish that i could paint more. i have found so much peace in creativity.
you can see all my available works when you visit my shop 😍
Please note, this website is a reflection space for my personal journey as an artist. It is not intended to offer psychological advice or replace professional support. If you are experiencing distress, please reach out to a registered psychologist or mental health service in your area.
